Sean Halligan, AIC, CCLA, NYCPS

Sean Halligan, principal of Halligan Claims Investigations, has spent his entire life in upstate

New York.   He was raised in Ulster County, went to college and worked in the Albany area,

and currently lives in Saratoga County with his wife Kristin and their two sons Brian and Michael.

When not working, Sean enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, skiing, running, biking,

snow shoeing, and will even ruin a perfectly good walk by playing a round of golf once in a

while.  He has been an avid cross country ski racer since high school and has been competing

in the sport of Biathlon (cross country skiing and target shooting) for over 20 years.

Sean currently runs the Saratoga Youth Nordic Ski Club for children 13 and younger and is President of the Saratoga Springs High School Nordic Ski Team Booster Club.  He is also active with the Wilton Youth Baseball and NYSSRA-Nordic Junior Biathlon programs.

Sean occasionally does some freelance writing for publications such as Adirondack Sports and Fitness and Adirondack Explorer.  Whenever time allows, he continues his slow but steady pursuit to become a “46’er” by hiking all 46 high peaks (over 4000 ft) of the Adirondack Mountains
